It was the 36^th NCAA tournament appearance for our Minnesota Gophers hockey team, but the Minnesota Gophers lost to Minnesota Duluth 4-1 in the NCAA Regional game, thus ending their 2014-15 season with a

23-13-3 overall record.

It was a great season to be a Gopher hockey fan and we look forward to seeing you again at Mariucci Arena next season supporting our Minnesota Gophers hockey program.

If you didn’t travel to Joe Louis Arena Detroit to watch this years Big Ten Hockey tournament, you missed our University of Minnesota Gopher mens hockey team claiming is first Big Ten playoff title.

The Gophers hockey team beat Michigan 4-2 to earn their conference playoff title. It is the first conference playoff title since the Gophers won the WCHA tournament in 2007.

We are proud of our maroon and gold and look forward to a strong showing in the NCAA tournament.

The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey team is off to Detroit to take part in the Big Ten Hockey Tournament at Joe Louis Arena. Other participants include Michigan State Spartans, the University of Michigan Wolverines, the Wisconsin Badgers, the Penn State Nittany Lions, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. The number 1 seeded Gophers have a first round bye and have their eyes on the prize of winning the tournament!
